"Before having children, I was in great shape – running 10Ks, one half-marathon, and particpating in two duathlons (run-bike-run). After having the second of my two wonderful little boys (the first of whom was 7 lbs., 15 oz., and the second of whom was 9 lbs, 5oz and delivered via c-section), I had no time to work out or really stay in shape. Over the course of the next two years, I began to feel sluggish and tired (and old!).
A woman at my office was training with Amber and spoke so highly of her (and had such great results!), that I thought I’d see what she could do for me. I didn’t really need to lose weight, but definitely wanted to tone up those out of shape arms and abs.
Over the course of the next two years, Amber pushed me to do things that I never thought I was capable of – TRX training, aquatic training, using medicine balls and kettelbells – just about everything (although we haven’t tried boxing yet!). My workouts are never the same – but are always interesting and challenging. While still pushing me to do new things, Amber takes the time to listen and adjust my workout – whether its revising an exercise due to a pulled muscle or changing the whole workout to accommodate a particularly bad day at the office (yay cardio!). Throughout it all, Amber has maintained her wonderful sense of humor and positive encouragement – and has become part of the family – my children now ask what exercises Miss Amber had me do, and want to exercise with me! She is truly a cheerleader, and has helped me reach my fitness goals and be a positive, fit, role model for my children! Its a beautiful thing! :)"

"I met Amber about 6 months after I had my first baby. I didn’t exercise during my pregnancy and thought I could/should eat whatever I wanted too. It’s for the baby, right??? Well, 9 months and 30+ lbs later, plus a touch of the baby blues, I was not where I wanted to be. That’s when my sister introduced me to Amber. Amber was just what I needed at that time. I mean, I couldn’t do more than 1 push up! But she was patient, motivating, and knew the things I needed for my body. She helped me keep track of my diet as well as give me ideas for healthy alternatives for the unhealthy things I really liked to eat. She would check in with me even on the days that we didn’t meet just to make sure I was on track and to give me a little motivation.
I’m really am not a fan of organized workouts but Amber always changed things up and I never knew what we were going to from day to day. That made it fun for me. We always did a little bit of everything and she helped whip me into shape. She helped me get back to a place where I was happy with my health and fitness.
Amber also trained me through my second pregnancy. She was up to date with exercises that were appropriate and safe for my changing body. She took great care to make sure I was comfortable with what I was doing while also pushing me a little. What a difference it made to train with Amber during my pregnancy. I bounced back much quicker and even shed the extra weight faster than after my first baby.
Amber stays current with new work outs and wants to provide the best for those who chose train with her. She is great at determining what your body needs and tailoring the work outs to best me your individual needs. I can say that Amber truly cares about her clients and you can tell she loves what she does!"

"I met Amber 9 years ago at Resolution Fitness where she put me on a Pilates "Reformer" machine, and I've never looked back. We agreed that this weight management and health thing is a marathon, not a sprint. I was working in a law firm and commuting two hours a day back then, but my time with Amber kept me sane. I lost 25 pounds working with her at Resolution Fitness and she's been my virtual coach since then."
